To my uncle Ulf, The sufferings and pain are enough; rest now. We will just wait for the return of our living Lord. We really have no control over a person's life, but I know our Lord has a good purpose in all things. It may be hard to accept, especially for the family you left behind, but I know they will overcome this because we have a Lord guiding us. You know, the memories we had before are still very fresh in my mind, even from when I was young—especially when we were in Boracay and Siquijor. It's a shame, my uncle, that now that I am ready to talk to you as an adult, you are gone. I wouldn't just nod my head anymore, even if I didn't understand you. But we can do nothing about it; it has happened. Thank you for everything, Uncle Ulf, and please forgive us, especially for what my family did to you. We will never forget you, uncle, and if the Lord ever gives me a chance to make amends, I will strive to do so, even if it's just for your family. I know that is still insufficient for all the help you gave us. Rest there, uncle, just wait there.
